CEDC strenghtens export team
(drinks media wire) - CEDC, one of the largest vodka producers in the world, has appointed Richard Huck Regional Director, Europe, Middle East & Africa. Huck joins the CEDC export team starting in July and will be responsible for the optimization of the distribution network across EMEA, and the development of the Regional team servicing the commercial & marketing needs of the distribution partners. The appointment of Huck results from the further development of CEDC export business that has been delivering rapid growth and is increasing its share in CEDC overall business.
Before joining CEDC Richard Huck worked for William Grant & Sons where he held a number of commercial management positions across a wide variety of markets including Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Middle East, and Asia. During his career Huck has successfully built 3rd party distribution networks for many brands including Grant’s, Glenfiddich, Clan MacGregor, and Hendricks.
Richard Huck will be based in London.
CEDC has reported growth of export sales in 2011 by over 55% reaching 25 million liters. The leading brands from CEDC export portfolio are: Żubrówka Bison Grass, Green Mark, Parliament and Kauffman vodka. In 2011 CEDC was the largest vodka exporter from Russia.
