Mikasa Oenology, Official Partner of « Grands Jours de Bourgogne »
MIKASA OENOLOGY collection: Official Glass
Mikasa Oenology provided the wine growers who were on the course of « Grands jours de Bourgogne », from march 20th to 24th, with its new glasses collection in Kwarx, OPEN UP, dedicated to young wines appreciation.
This new glasses collection enabled to sublimate the appreciation of all these wines.

A first collection dedicated to young wines
Being perfectly neutral on the colorimetric scale, KWARX allows a reproduction of the full chromatic range of the wines. The nuance, brilliance and intensity of the colour of a wine are able to shine through, for an enhanced pleasure of the senses.
The shape of the « Open-up » glasses allows all the aromas to develop thus enhancing both senses of taste and smell.
The « Open-up » glass is dedicated to all the young wines throughout the world, (up to 3 years for white wines, 5 years for reds) because it reveals the aromas beautifully and is designed for those who know very little about wine tasting, but are keen to enjoy it and learn about sensations first.
Arc International, partner of « grands jours de Bourgogne », also realized the 2006 trophy: a single work created by Xavier Froissart and offered to the prize winner journalist on March 24th.
Last Friday, M. Philippe Durand, president of the directory of Arc International, leader of the world tableware market, offered the “Grands jours de Bourgogne” trophy to Stephen Brook, British journalist for Decanter. ARC International, thus, proves its deep interest for the wine sector and dedicated press, creating the trophy of the “Grands jours” for the third time. Hand blown glass by the glass masters of the Salviati workshop (Salviati is the high range brand of the group), this exceptional piece needed 3 entire days of work to reach its definitive shape.
