The Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) presented six companies with its 2008 Best New Product Awards during the association’s recently concluded 20th annual conference & exhibition in Minneapolis, Minn. The awards acknowledge SCAA conference exhibitors introducing new and innovative products in six different categories: coffee or tea preparation and serving equipment for consumer and commercial purposes; educational/training products; specialty beverage; packaging; food; and an open-class category for coffee- or tea-related products. This year’s winners represent companies located throughout the United States and South Africa.
