National Restaurant Association Honors D.C.'s Top Restaurant Stars at 2010 Public Affairs Conference Congressional Reception
(Drinks Media Wire). The National Restaurant Association will honor some of Washington, D.C.’s top restaurant stars at a reception during its 24th annual Public Affairs Conference on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Acadiana restaurant. This event will include hundreds of restaurateurs from around the country, legislators, and restaurant “honorees” from the D.C. area. A silent auction, featuring donated items from honorees, will raise funds from conference participants for the D.C. Central Kitchen.
The conference will provide restaurateurs the opportunity to interact with Members of Congress and provide them a better understanding of the integral role the restaurant industry plays in the economy – as the second largest private sector employer in the country - and the contributions that restaurants make to better their communities.
