(Drinks Media Wire). The International Dairy Foods Association this week unveiled IDS 2010, a new mobile application designed for smart phones. The IDS 2010 application will provide attendees at the International Dairy Show with a wealth of information, including session times and descriptions, an exhibit floor map and the daily schedule for the iDairyShow presentation area. The show will take place September 13-15 at the Dallas Convention Center.
The application is available free of charge in the App Store from Apple, Android Market and Blackberry App World. Users can also access the International Dairy Show's Twitter feed, YouTube profile and Facebook, ChirpE and LinkedIn pages through the IDS 2010 interface.
"Users of the IDS 2010 mobile app will have real-time content and updates at their fingertips," said Robin Cornelison, trade show manager for IDFA. "This invaluable tool offers yet another way for attendees and exhibitors to connect during the show."
The International Dairy Show will feature the newest innovations in technology, packaging, ingredients and services for the dairy foods industry. Educational sessions will offer solutions that span the entire manufacturing process, and attendees will have the opportunity to visit exhibits displaying everything dairy companies need to run more efficiently, create new products and improve profitability.
