Mindful Drinking Festival Organized For First Time in D.C.

The first D.C. Mindful Drinking Festival is aimed at community members who are devoted to booze-free drinking and the cause of local health. The event will also feature the debut of a book, Mindful Mixology, which provides a guide to making delicious cocktail without alcohol. A series of hourly mocktail demonstrations will also take place.

The Mindful Drinking Festival features unlimited tastings and a tasting glass for each drink. The event will also feature a cocktail-making demonstration and a discussion about the benefits of Mindful Mixology. Two co-hosts, Derek Brown and Erika Goedrich, own Craft Beer Cellar DC, which features zero-proof and low-proof beers and spirits. The Mindful Drinking Festival will be held on Saturday, November 5, at the Craft Beer Cellar DC, in Washington, D.C. Tickets are sold out but there is a waiting list.
